r19990532 EXECUTIVE SESSION - PERSONNEL Arnold made a motion and Hartman seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Stelk absent for the vote. Motion carried. Chairman Jeffries requested that Police Chief Kyle Hetrick, Gary Piel, Sheriff Jerry Watson, State Patrol representative Leon Cederlind, Corrections Director Joel Dalton and INS Representative remain for the executive session. 9:08 a.m. executive session 10:06 a.m. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Hartman made a motion and Logan seconded to open the bids for a grade-all. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. The following bids were received and read for a 1999 grade-all: Bidder Fehrs Tractor, Grand Island Proposal # 1 $213,800.00 Trade-in $22,500.00 Total $191,300.00 Fehrs Tractor, Grand Island Proposal #2 $226,500.00 Trade-in $22,500.00 Total $204,000.00 Logan made a motion and Stelk seconded to accept the bid and refer to the public works committee. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR PROJECT STPP-2ll0(1) FOR BOSSELMAN WOOD RIVER ROAD PROJECT: Public Works Director Dan Hostler explained that this resolution is for the safety funds received from the state for the new Wood River Road. He explained that the State of Nebraska did the bidding on this project. Hartman made a motion and Logan seconded to approve Resolution #99-0093 for the construction of Project STPP-2110(1) for grading, concrete pavement and culverts. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
