<br />. <br /> <br />F 19990541 <br /> <br />MOTION TO RESCIND THE MOTION ADOPTED 10/26/99 TO SELL OR <br />DESIGNATE THE PROPERTY AT CAAP UNTIL FEBRUARY 22,2000 AND TO <br />HAVE PEOPLE SUBMIT PROPOSALS FOR THE USAGE OF THE LAND UNTIL <br />FEBRUARY 7, 2000: Landis requested that this item be tabled until January 11,2000. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Stacey Ruzicka asked if the board wanted to renew <br />the membership to the Nebraska Tax Research publication and stated they did not want to <br />renew it. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan stated that the building and grounds committee <br />will tour Judge Luther's courtroom tomorrow. A report on the carpet inspection was <br />received and this will be referred back to the building and grounds committee. Logan <br />stated he received a request from Habitat for Humanity for six or seven free camping <br />spaces at the Hall County Park May 9 to May 20, 2000 while they are working on <br />homes. Arnold made a motion and Lancaster seconded to offer all the spaces requested <br />by Habitat for Humanity at the Hall County Park. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended a personnel committee meeting and a computer committee <br />meeting and the minutes are included. <br /> <br />Stelk -- She attended county government day and the computer committee meeting. She <br />also reported that the Health Department is working with the architect on the remodeling. <br />They are still seeking a new director for the health department. She also attended the <br />library board meeting and the extension board meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended a weed control authority meeting. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended a corrections steering committee meeting and the Midland Area <br />Agency on Aging meeting. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the correction department interviews and the interviews for the <br />new regional planning director. She will also attend a grant writing class. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He wished everyone a Merry Christmas with a round of "Jingle Bells." <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. The next meeting will be December 18, 1999 at 9:00 <br />a.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />C-nfu <br /> <br />: The County Board meetings may be viewed on GITV Cable Channel 6 and <br />el 56 Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. and Friday at 8:00 a.m. <br />
