<br />F 19990493 <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOVEMBER 23, 1999 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session and by published call <br />in the county board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, November <br />23, 1999, at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bud Jeffries. <br /> <br />A minute of silence was observed for invocation. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Richard Hartman, Bud Jeffus, Pamela Lancaster, <br />Margaret Landis and Lonnie Logan. Tammie Stelk was absent. Also present were <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from the <br />Grand Island Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />Lancaster made a motion and Logan seconded to approve by consent agenda the <br />following: <br />1. Accept and place on file the minutes of the November 9 meeting. <br />2. Approve the stop-sign resolution # 99-0089 for Monitor and Capital Avenue <br />3. Set the bid opening date for December 14, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. for a gradall <br />4. Accepted and approved the engineering proposal from Associated Engineers <br />on project C40(243) <br />5. Authorized the chair to sign the permanent easement for Project STPMNFG- <br />40(45) Burlington Northern Railroad project on Abbott Road <br />6. Authorized the chair to sign the notification of the county highway <br />superintendent <br />7. Set the bid opening date for December 14, 1999 for Burlington Northern <br />project <br />8. Accept and place on file the office reports for the clerk of the district court, <br />register of deeds, county attorney and weed control <br />9. Accept and place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br />10. Accept and place on file communications <br /> <br />Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no <br />with Stelk absent. Motion carried. <br />
