Stelk made a motion and Hartman <br />seconded to approve the Proclamations and place on file. Arnold Hartman Jeffries <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted'no. Moti~n carried <br /> <br />Office of the County Board of Supervisors <br />Hall County <br /> <br />Proclamation <br /> <br />Whereas, home care is the most preferred method of health care delivery among people who are disabled, <br />elderly and chronically ill yet eager to live independently in their own homes; and <br /> <br />Whereas, home care in the United States is a growing alternative to hospitalization for acute and chronic <br />illnesses, service more than 8 million Americans each year; and <br /> <br />Whereas, thousands of home care professionals and volunteers in over 20,000 home care agencies across <br />the country daily blend compassionate care and technological advances to ensure the futures and brighten the lives of <br />their patients; and <br /> <br />Whereas, these dedicated home care professionals and volunteers form a support network that will continue <br />to playa vital role in health care delivery for the nation's aging population into the next century; and <br /> <br />Whereas, Tabitha Health Care Services, St Francis Home Health/Hospice, Home Care & Companions, and <br />Option Care, the National association for Home Care and home care agencies across the United States have declared <br />the month of November 1999 as National Home Care Month and are calling on all Americans to observe this <br />occasion with appropriate ceremonies and activities; <br /> <br />Now, therefore, be it resolved that we, the Hall County Board of Supervisors do hereby proclaim <br />November 1999 as <br /> <br />NATIONAL HOME CARE MONTH <br /> <br />in the city/county of Hall and encourage the support and participation of all citizens in learning more about the home <br />care concept of care for patients with terminal illnesses and their families. <br /> <br />7JJ an <br /> <br />In witness whereof I have hereunto set <br />s this e I to be affixed, <br /> <br />
