~19990440 CONSIDER AND ADOPT RESOLTUION APPROVING AGREEMEl'fr AND SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT REGARDING BURLINGTON DEPOT PROJECT: The Hall County Historical Society purchased the Burlington Depot and they have applied for a grant for the restoration of the depot. Hall County will serve as the grantee for the grant with the Nebraska Department of Roads. Hartman made a motion and Stelk seconded to approve resolution # 99-0083 authorizing the execution of the agreements. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. RESOL UTI ON #99- 6 C R9 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS WITH THE NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ROADS AND THE HALL COUNTY mSTORICAL SOCIETY RELATIVE TO THE BURLINGTON DEPOT PROJECT WHEREAS, the Hall County Historical Society, hereinafter referred to as the "Historical Society," through the County of Hall as grantee, hereinafter referred to as the "County," has applied for a grant from the Nebraska Depamnent of Roads, hereinafter referred to as "NDOR," for renovations and improvements to the Burlington Depot located in Grand Island and owned by the Historical Society; and WHEREAS, the Historical Society desires to enter into a sub recipient agreement with the County whereby the Historical Society contracts to fulfill all term, conditions and requirements of the County as set forth in the grant agreement between the County and the NDOR. NOW BE IT RESOLVED, the agreement between the County and NDOR for project STPB-40( 47) and the subrecipient agreement between the County and the Historical Society are hereby approved. The Chairman of the County Board and the Hall County Clerk are hereby directed and authorized to execute the same in the name of and on behalf of the County of Hall and are further authorized, on behalf of the County, to execute such additional documents necessary for the acceptance and receipt of said grant.
