<br />F 19990395 <br /> <br />CONSIDER & APPROVE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH CENTRAL PLATTE NRD <br />FOR DRAINAGE DITCHES AT CAAP: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz stated that <br />two main drainage ditches were constructed some years ago and he recommends that Hall county <br />and Central Platte NRD acquire permanent easements for these ditches. The cost of the upkeep <br />could be shared. Lands made a motion and Stelk seconded to approve the interlocal agreement <br />with Central Platte Natural Resources District for acquisition and maintenance of drainage ditches <br />at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant. Discussion was held on the cost of the maintenance <br />and Landis stated that this would not be a big issue. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Logan <br />and Stelk all voted yes and Jefllies voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CONSIDER AND ADOPT RESOLUTION APPROVING CREATION OF COUNTY <br />CLASSIFICATION COMMITTEE: This is a revised resolution that creates a classification <br />committee consisting of the county board personnel committee and members elected by the <br />elected and appointed officials group to serve on the committee. The purpose of the committee <br />will be to maintain pay grades between county offices that was adopted from the salary survey <br />and classification study. Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution <br />99-0072 established the Hall County classification committee. Arnold, Hartman, Jefllies, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-o0'7~ <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE <br />HALL COUNTY CLASSIFICATION COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Board and the County's elected and appointed officials desire to <br />create a county classification committee charged with the responsibility to review and make <br />recommendations and policies for administration and maintenance of the County's pay plan. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, the Hall County Classification Committee, comprised of the <br />members of the Hall County Board of Supervisors Personnel Committee, three county officials selected <br />by vote of the County Elected and Appointed Officials, and the County Attorney or designate of the <br />County Attorney, is hereby established. Following the initial selections by the County Elected and <br />Appointed Officials, three members shall be selected annually each January by the Elected and <br />Appointed Officials, for terms of one year.
