~ r19990354 CONSIDER & ADOPf"RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONVEYANCE dr KlUH l-Or!-'\1VA ~ FOR ALDA ROAD AND OLD POTASH HlGHW A Y WITHING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CORNHUSKER ARMY AMUNITION PLANT: The Army Corps of Engineer's and the General Services Administration expressed their concerns with private easenUlts to property at CAAP. Public roads to the property arre needed. This matter was taken to the Reuse conullittee and they adopted this resolution to use the old section line roads at minimum maintenace to make it more conveient for all parties. As the property is developed tax dollars will be generated to maintain the roads. Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve Resolution #990069 for the conveyance of easement for road right -of way for Aida Road and Old Potash Highway within CAAP. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stclk all voted yes and Jeffries voted no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #99- 0 0 G,q A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENTS FOR ROAD RIGHT-OF-W A YS FOR ALDA ROAD AND OLD POTASH HIGHWAY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CORNHUSKER ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT WHEREAS, On May 20, 1942, the Hall County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution vacating the section line roads lying within the boundaries of the Comhusker Army Ammunition Plant (hereinafter "CAAP"); and WHEREAS, The United States Army is preparing to transfer portions of CAAP into private ownership; and WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to reop~n as pubic roads those portions of Aida Road and Old Potash Highway lying within the boundaries of CAAP. NOW BE IT RESOLVED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors respectfully request that the United States Department of Army convey to the County of Hall easements for public road right-of- ways over and upon the real estate as described in Attachment "A," which is incorporated herein by this reference.
