~19990286 C. CONSIDER & ADOPT AMENDl\1ENT TO COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION REGARDING GUEST HOUSES: The public hearing on this matter was held by the Hall County Board on July 13. Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution #99- 0047 to adopt an amendment to the county zoning regulations regarding the co-dependent relationship between a guest house and a principal residence. Arnold, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with Hartman absent. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #98- OOL{1 A RESOLUTION Al~NDING THE HALL COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION TO REFLECT THE CO-DEPENDENT RELATIONSHIP THAT EXISTS BETWEEN A GUEST HOUSE Al'iD A PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Regional Planning Commission, hereinafter referred to as the "Commission," held June 9, 1999, the Commission held a public hearing and considered a proposed amendments to the Hall County Zoning Resolution to reflect the co-dependent relationship between a guest house and a principal residence, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked Attachment "A," and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the purpose of said proposed amendments is to clarify a guest house in the AG-1, AG-2, TA-1, and TA-2 zones cannot be subdivided onto its own titled lot, separate from that of the principal residence; and WHEREAS, the Commission, by a unanimous vote of the eight members present, recommended that the Hall County Board of Supervisors amend the Hall County Zoning Resolution to incorporate the changes proposed in Attachment "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set forth; and WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Hall County Board of Supervisors, held July 13'; 1999, a public hearing was held on the recommended changes to the Hall County Zoning Resolution proposed by the Commission and set forth in Attachment "A" NOW BE IT RESOL \lED, upon consideration of the record herein, the Hall County Board of Supervisors finds that the proposed amendments to the Hall County Zoning Resolution as set forth in attachment "A" are consistent with the County's comprehensive development plan and designed for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity, and welfare of the present and future inhabitants of Hall County and promotes those specific purposes as set forth in Neb. Rev. Stat. 9 23-114.03, as amended. IT FURTHER RESOL \lED that the proposed amendments to the Hall County Zoning Resolution as set forth in Attachment "A" should be and the same are hereby ordered approved and adopted and the Hall County Zoning Resolution is amended in conformance with the same. Said amendments shall be spread in the minutes of the Hall County Board of Supervisors and shall be published in book or pamphlet form by the Planning Director and the Regional Planning Commission.
