CONSIDER & ADOPT AMENDl\1ENT TO COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION <br />REGARDING GUEST HOUSES: The public hearing on this matter was held by the Hall County <br />Board on July 13. Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution #99- <br />0047 to adopt an amendment to the county zoning regulations regarding the co-dependent <br />relationship between a guest house and a principal residence. Arnold, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98- OOL{1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION Al~NDING THE HALL COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION TO <br />REFLECT THE CO-DEPENDENT RELATIONSHIP THAT EXISTS BETWEEN A <br />GUEST HOUSE Al'iD A PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Regional Planning Commission, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "Commission," held June 9, 1999, the Commission held a <br />public hearing and considered a proposed amendments to the Hall County Zoning <br />Resolution to reflect the co-dependent relationship between a guest house and a principal <br />residence, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked Attachment "A," and <br />incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of said proposed amendments is to clarify a guest house in <br />the AG-1, AG-2, TA-1, and TA-2 zones cannot be subdivided onto its own titled lot, <br />separate from that of the principal residence; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission, by a unanimous vote of the eight members present, <br />recommended that the Hall County Board of Supervisors amend the Hall County Zoning <br />Resolution to incorporate the changes proposed in Attachment "A," which is attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set forth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Hall County Board of Supervisors, held <br />July 13'; 1999, a public hearing was held on the recommended changes to the Hall County <br />Zoning Resolution proposed by the Commission and set forth in Attachment "A" <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOL \lED, upon consideration of the record herein, the Hall County <br />Board of Supervisors finds that the proposed amendments to the Hall County Zoning <br />Resolution as set forth in attachment "A" are consistent with the County's comprehensive <br />development plan and designed for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals, <br />convenience, order, prosperity, and welfare of the present and future inhabitants of Hall <br />County and promotes those specific purposes as set forth in Neb. Rev. Stat. 9 23-114.03, as <br />amended. <br /> <br />IT FURTHER RESOL \lED that the proposed amendments to the Hall County <br />Zoning Resolution as set forth in Attachment "A" should be and the same are hereby <br />ordered approved and adopted and the Hall County Zoning Resolution is amended in <br />conformance with the same. Said amendments shall be spread in the minutes of the Hall <br />County Board of Supervisors and shall be published in book or pamphlet form by the <br />Planning Director and the Regional Planning Commission. <br />
