<br />~199903{J6 <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL: Stelk made a motiona nd Lancaster seconded to go back <br />into executives session. Arnold, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no with Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:20 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />12:00 p.m. Arnold made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of executive session. <br />Arnold, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with <br />Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to go into a board of equalization meeting. Arnold, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with Hartman absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Logan- He stated attended all the budget work study session <br />and portest hearings. <br /> <br />Stelk - She stated that the minutes of the health board meeting were on file and they will take <br />applications for a new health director until October 1, 1999 at 5:00 p.m. The interview <br />committee has been appointed. Doug Riggs will report to the county board on the remodeling at <br />the new building at the next meeting. Rochelle Kieborz will be the interim director. She has <br />attended the work study sessions and protest hearings. The health insurance committee will meet <br />at 2:00 p.m. and she would like to have another board member attend. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the board of equalization meetings and the budget work study sessions. <br />The Economic Development Co. is searching for a new director and will begin interviews on <br />August 1. <br /> <br />Landis - She has attended the work study sessions and the board of equalization hearings. <br /> <br />Arnold - He reported that the Head start policy counsel has taken a strong hand and are doing the <br />job that they were instructed to do. He also attended a child advocacy meeting. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He has attended the board of equalization hearings and the budget work study sessions. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD ASSISTANT REPORT - Stacey stated the county board received a <br />certificate from the hooked on fishing derby. She asked if the board members received the <br />questionnaire on RDG. She also included the board members meeting schedule in their packets. <br /> <br />APPROVE SALARY RANGES FOR APPOINTED OFFICIALS: Lancaster made a motion and <br />Arnold seconded to accept the salary ranges for the appointed officials. Arnold, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with Hartman absent. <br />Motion carried. <br />
