APPROVE $6,100.00 CLAIM FOR PURCHASE OF PROPERTY ON SHERIFF'S <br />SALE AND AUTHORIZE LISTING FOR SALE: This property is owned by <br />Flora Cox and is described as Lot Seven(7) and the West Half of <br />Lot Eight(8), Block Eleven(ll), Brett and Johnson's Addition to <br />the Village of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska. An order <br />confirming the sale was received from District Court and the <br />county will purchase the property. It will be necessary to <br />approve the claim in the amount of $6,100.00 for the fees. The <br />County will need to have new locks placed on the building and <br />also list the property for sale. Stelk made a motion and Hartman <br />seconded to approve the claim for $6,100.00 and authorize <br />Building and Grounds to replace the locks and authorize Jerry <br />Janulewicz to list the property for sale. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. EXECUTIVE SESSION - UFCW LABOR AGREEMENT DISCUSS NEGOTIATIONS <br />AND NEGOTIATION STRATEGY AND PROVIDE DIRECTION TO NEGOTIATIONS: <br />Hartman made a motion and Stelk seconded to go into executive <br />session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:10 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />11:40 a.m. Hartman made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out <br />of executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION DISCUSS NEGOTIATIONS ON SOUTH LOCUST: Lancaster <br />made a motion and Logan seconded to go into executive session. <br />Arnold, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no, with Hartman abstaining. Motion carried. <br />11:41 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />11:55 a.m. Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out <br />of executive session. Arnold, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Hartman absent <br />for the vote. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Daniel Hostler returned with the results on <br />the asphalt and box culverts bids. The low bidder on the asphalt <br />was JIL Asphalt Paving Inc. with a total bid of $390,981.85 for <br />the three projects. The low bidder on the box culvert projects <br />was Diamond Engineering with a total bid of $85,495.18 on all <br />four projects. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to <br />accept the low bids from JIL Asphalt and Diamond Engineering and <br />authorize the Chair to sign the contracts. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried <br />
