~,. . 1"":' 1 9 () n l) () ~., ,... r ~. ___: \J ,;; t) ,) HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 22, 1999 The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session and by published call in the county board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, June 22, 1999, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bud Jeffries. Present on roll call were Richard Hartman, Bud Jeffries Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Lonnie Logan and Tammie Stelk. Scott Arnold was absent. Also present were Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand I Island Independent and KRGI. MINUTES OF THE JUNE 8 MEETING: Hartman made a motion and Logan seconded to approve the minutes of the June 8 meeting. Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Arnold absent and Stelk absent for the vote. Motion carried. COUNTY ATTORNEY A. RESOLUTION REGULATING THE USE OF BICYCLES ON SOUTH LOCUST STREET: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz stated that state law requires headlights and taillights on bicycles and restricts the riding times from sunrise to sunset. This resolution is not necessary because the regulations are all ready covered by state statute. B. RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNTY OF HALL AS TRANSFEREE OF PROPERTY LOCATED A CAAP: This resolution addresses the property at CAAP where the communications tower is located. The reuse committee recommends to approve this resolution and the county would be required to pay fair market value for the property. Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve resolution #99-0034 designating the County of Hall as transferee of property located at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant. Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Arnold absent and Stelk absent for the vote. Motion carried.
