<br />~,. <br />. <br /> <br />1"":' 1 9 () n l) () ~., ,... <br />r ~. ___: \J ,;; t) ,) <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 22, 1999 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call in the county board meeting room, 121 South <br />Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, June 22, 1999, at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bud Jeffries. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Richard Hartman, Bud Jeffries Pamela <br />Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Lonnie Logan and Tammie Stelk. Scott <br />Arnold was absent. Also present were Deputy County Attorney <br />Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand <br />I <br />Island Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE JUNE 8 MEETING: Hartman made a motion and Logan <br />seconded to approve the minutes of the June 8 meeting. Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none <br />voted no with Arnold absent and Stelk absent for the vote. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY A. RESOLUTION REGULATING THE USE OF BICYCLES ON <br />SOUTH LOCUST STREET: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz <br />stated that state law requires headlights and taillights on <br />bicycles and restricts the riding times from sunrise to sunset. <br />This resolution is not necessary because the regulations are all <br />ready covered by state statute. <br /> <br />B. RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNTY OF HALL AS TRANSFEREE OF <br />PROPERTY LOCATED A CAAP: This resolution addresses the property <br />at CAAP where the communications tower is located. The reuse <br />committee recommends to approve this resolution and the county <br />would be required to pay fair market value for the property. <br />Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve resolution <br />#99-0034 designating the County of Hall as transferee of property <br />located at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant. Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none <br />voted no with Arnold absent and Stelk absent for the vote. <br />Motion carried. <br />
