<br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Arnold - He attended the FEMA board <br />meeting and reported that the allocation of the funds is similar <br />to the keno funds. He also attended the building and grounds <br />committee meeting and the Head Start meeting. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the reuse meeting and the union <br />negotiations. <br /> <br />F19990056 <br />Lancaster - She attended the Crime Stoppers and Head Start ' <br />meeting and reported that Head Start is now in various school <br />buildings and they would like to have it under one roof. She <br />also attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting. The <br />computer committee met and there is now a request for service <br />form and they are going to start purchasing the Y2K platforms at <br />5 per month. They will purchase all Dell PC's. There will be a <br />property tax seminar and the county assessments must be to the <br />state by March 20. The NACO County Board workshop will be <br />Thursday and Friday. <br /> <br />Logan - He attended the College Park Board meeting, the building <br />and grounds committee meeting and the parks committee meeting. <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended the Library Board meeting and the year to <br />date total check out is 10,23'5. The contract for the bookmobile <br />will need to be renewed and the committee will need to work on <br />it. She attended the extension board meeting, the union <br />negotiations and the health board meeting and she toured the Jack <br />& Jill building and will have a computer committee meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman - He reported that Mid-Plains is considering purchasing <br />the Plat Administration Building. They could move their offices <br />and the present Mid-Plains building for the programs. He <br />attended the Weed board meeting but they did not have a quorum <br />and he attended the Land-Valuation meeting but no action was <br />taken. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Stelk requested to purchase a new <br />flag for the board room. Judge Luther sent a memo concerning the <br />remodeling at the Courthouse and the criminal justice committee <br />will need to meet concerning this. <br /> <br />There will be an ADA meeting February 17 and the conditional use <br />committee and bookmobile committee will need to meet. <br /> <br /> <br />p.m. The next meeting will be February 23 <br /> <br /> <br />REMINDER: The County Board meetings may be viewed on GITV <br />Cable Channel 6 and UHF Channel 56 Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. <br />and Friday at 8:00 a.m. <br />
