HAL.L COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING AUGUST 14, 2012 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Arnold seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE - Present an roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also <br /> present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, Deputy County Assessor Shirlee <br /> Mudloff, Deputy County Treasurer Alaina Verplank and Board Assistant Stacey <br /> Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW - Chairman Lancaster read the natice of the apen <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES -Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> July 31, 2012 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and <br /> Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBI.IC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> 3. COUNTY TREASURER - 1) APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> BENEDICTINE SISTERS FOR A 2005 FORD TAURUS �- <br /> 2) APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR THE NEBRASKA DISTRICT <br /> COUNCIL OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD FOR A 2007 GMC - Nebraska <br /> Deputy County Treasurer Alaina Verplank read the fallowing exemption applications: <br /> Benedictine Sisters, 2939 Pinnacle Pointe Drive, Grand Island, NE for a 2005 Ford <br /> Taurus to be used for travel to and from Central Cathalic ministry, travel ta monastery in <br /> Yanktan, travel to religious houses in Nebraska and to and fram store far household <br /> needs. <br /> Nebraska District Council of the Assemblies of Ford for a 2�Q7 GMAC 4 door to be used <br /> for the district youth and Christian education director for ministry use. <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek recommend approving these exemption applications as <br /> per N�braska State Statute 77-ZQ2 and Ms. Verplank is requesting the county baard's <br /> approval. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola s�conded to apprave the exemption applications for <br /> Benedictine Sisters and the Nebraska District Council. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried <br /> COUNTY ASSESSOR -�TAX CORRECTION NOTICES Deputy County Assessor <br /> Shirlee Mudloff presented tax correction natice 4507 to 4521 and requested that the <br /> caunty board authorize the Chair to initial.
