HALL COUNTY BOAD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JULY 31, 2012 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Quandt mad� a motion and Purdy seconded to go into a Baard of <br /> Equalizatian meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also <br /> present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, County Assessor Jan Pelland, <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> N�TICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice af the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES —Quandt made a motion and Purdy seconded ta apprave the minutes of the <br /> July 17, 2012 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and <br /> Ziala all voted yes and none voted na. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participatian and no <br /> one responded. <br /> 3. COUNTY TREASURER —County Treasurer Peg Pesek presented the following <br /> exemption applications: <br /> 1) APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR SENIOR CITIZEN INDUSTRIES <br /> FOR A 2006 KIA VAN- Senior Citizen (ndustries, 304 East Third, Street, Grand Island, <br /> NE. This is far a 2006 KIA van ta be used for delivering meals to the elderly and <br /> disabled five days a week. She has recommended approval as per Nebraska State <br /> Statute 77-202. <br /> 2) DISCUSS AND APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR ST MARY'S <br /> CATHEDRAL DAY CARE ON A 20�Q BLUE BIRD BUS - St Mary's Cathedral Daycare, <br /> 112 Sauth Cedar, Grand Island, NE. This is far a 2Q00 Chevrolet Bluebird bus to be <br /> used for transportation of daycare and school age children on field trips or after schaal <br /> transpartation or used by parish for retreats or other similar purposes. She is <br /> r�commending approval as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> 3) DISCUSS AND APPR�VE EXEMPTION APPLICATION — St Francis Medical <br /> Center, 2620 West Faidley Avenue, Grand Island for a 2000 Buick 4/Dr to be used for <br /> patient transport. She is recommending approval as per Nebraska State Statute 77- <br /> 2Q2. <br /> She is requ�sting that the County Board approve these exemption applications. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the exemption applications far <br /> Senior Citizens Industries, St. Mary's Cathedral Day Care and St. Francis Medical <br /> Center. Arnald, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
