HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING MARCH 27, 2012 9:05 a.m. Schuppan made a motion and Ziala seconded to go into a Board of Equalizatian meeting. ROLL CALL V�TE — Present on roll call vote were Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Scott Arnold was on an excused absence. Also present was Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkapf, County Assessor Jan Pelland and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open meeting law. MINUTES --Purdy made a motion and Quandt secanded to approve the minutes of the March 13, 2012 meeting. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziala all voted yes and nane vated na. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. COUNTY ATTORNEY-- EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING NEW HOLLAND LITIGATION AND WESTRIDGE CROWN/RIDGWOOD CROWN LITIGATION — McFarland made a motion and Purdy seconded to go into �xecutive session regarding New Holland and Westridge Crown litigatian. This executive session is to protect the public interest. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. 9:1 p a.m. executive session 9:38 a.m. rec�ssed the Board of Equalization meeting to hold the bid opening. 9:45 a.m. Returned to the Board of Equalization meeting. COUNTY ASSESSOR —TAX CORRECTION NOTICES — County Assessor Jan Pelland presented tax correctian notices #4464 to #4475 requesting a motion ta authorize the chair to initial the notices. Quandt made a motion and Purdy seconded to authorize the Chair to initial tax correction notices #4464 to #4475. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Mation carried. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one respond�d. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished business and no one responded. 9:53 a.m. recessed the Baard of Equalization meeting. .
