HALLCOUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JANUARY 3, 2012 <br /> 9:05 a.m. McFarland made a motion and Quandt seconded to go into a Board of Equalization <br /> meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present an roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob <br /> McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also present was <br /> Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Baard Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTIC� OF OPEN M�ETING LAW— Chairman Lancaster read the natice of the open meeting <br /> law. <br /> MINUTES —Quandt made a motion and Purdy seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> December 2p, 2Q11 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and <br /> Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participatian and no one <br /> responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER— EXEMPTION APPLICATION FQR GOODWILL INDUSTRI�S FOR A <br /> 2006 CHEVROLET -County Treasurer poris Mason presented the new exemption application <br /> far Goadwill Industries of Greater Nebraska Inc. 1$04 South Eddy, Grand Island for a 2006 <br /> Chevrolet truck to be used for Goodwill programs and business use only from one location to <br /> the next location. She recommended approval under Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is <br /> requesting that the County Board approve the application. <br /> McFarland made a motion and Schuppan seconded to apprave the exemption applicatian for <br /> Goodwill Industries. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> APPROVE 2012 MOT�R V�HICLE TAX EXEMPTIONS —County Treasurer poris Mason <br /> stated that these are the annual 457 motor vehicle tax exemption renewals. She has approved <br /> them under Nebraska State Statute 77-2p2 and is requesting the Board's approval. <br /> Arnold made a motion and 5chuppan seconded to approve the 2012 motor vehicl� tax <br /> exemptions. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes <br /> and none voted no.
