HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING D�C�MBER 4, 2012 <br /> The Hatl County Board of Supervisors convened December 4, 2012 by published call in #he <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Alsa present was Deputy County <br /> Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF �P�N ME�TING LAW— Chairman Pamela Lancaster read the notice of open <br /> me�ting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME— Chairman Lancaster stated that if anyone from the audience <br /> has a request to reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. <br /> Jordan Adam the Attorney representing the Crane Trust requested to reserve 10 minutes to <br /> address item number 9 regarding Elm Island Road and he also requested 5 minutes for Charles <br /> Cooper and 5 minutes for Dr. Mary Harner. <br /> John Amick representing Trevor Johnson requested to reserve 5 to 1 p minutes on item #9. <br /> Chairman Lancaster requested that they limit their r�marks from 3 to 5 minutes this had been <br /> discuss�d in length at the public hearing. <br /> Purdy made a mation and Quandt seconded to approve the fallawing by consent agenda: <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the November 20t" meeting <br /> 2. 10 Placed on file the Hall County financial report for year ended June 3�, 2012 <br /> 3. 14 Approved the reappointments of Diane Wiley and Tony Shultz for a term from 2013 to <br /> 2016 <br /> 4. 15 Authorized the Chair to sign the certification of County Highway Superintendent <br /> 5. 16a Approved th� biweekly pay claims <br /> 6. 16b Approved the early claim for the Convention Visitors Bureau for $47,247.63 for <br /> lodging tax <br /> 7. 16c Approved th� early claim far US Bank for $231.50 <br /> 8. 17 Placed on file the office report from the Register of Deeds and the County Attorney <br /> statistical report <br /> 9. 18 Placed an file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous receipts <br /> 10. 19 Placed on file cammunications as received <br /> 11. 20 Autharized the placement of the Historical Society Marker and vehicle turn-out for the <br /> 8-17 crash of 1944 near the Langenheder farm site located on the East side of St. Paul <br /> Road near 45537 St Paul Road <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motian carried. <br /> 1 <br />
