SET THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION DATES AND TIMES — Pelland stated that the <br /> informal referee hearings will start in the middle of June through the first week in July but <br /> the board will need to set the formal haring dates. Discussion was held and the <br /> following dates were set: <br /> July 12 3:00 p.m. to 8:Q0 p.m. <br /> July 13 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br /> July 14 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> Final action for the 2011 protests will be held on July 19'h. This is a regular meeting date <br /> for the County Board. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Ziola Seconded to approve the dates far the formal board of <br /> equalization hearings and final action as stated. Arnold, Lancaster, Quandt, Purdy, <br /> Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. JefFries was absent. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> DISCUSS VALUATION ACTIVITY FOR 2011 — Pelland reviewed the following valuation <br /> activity for this year: <br /> RESID�NTIAL PROPERTY— <br /> • Reviewed parcels in various neighborhoads for 6 year cycle work <br /> • Completed a vacant lot review <br /> • Reviewed rural residential physical inspection review and revalue of houses and <br /> out buildings <br /> • Raised primary site acre values to $18,500, next four acres to $3,Op0 per acres <br /> and mare than 5 acres to $2Q00 per acre <br /> • Annual permit pick-up work for new construction additions and remodels <br /> COMMERCIAL PROP�RTY <br /> • raised multi-family property buildings by 10% based on sales included in 2011 <br /> preliminary statistics <br /> • raised service repair buildings by30% based on sales included in 2011 <br /> preliminary statistics <br /> • raised warehause storage buildings by 1 Q% based on sales included in 2011 <br /> preliminary statistics <br /> • Did permit pick-up work for new construction, additions and remodels <br /> AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY <br /> • Recalculated parcel acres with GIS data far accurate soil type as second phase <br /> of new soil survey and conversion <br /> • Revised parcels included in the 2011 preliminary statistics with new mapping and <br /> conversion data the determined level of assessment based on the sales <br /> • Raised irrigated land in market area 2 equal to market area 1 based on sales <br /> included in preliminary statistics <br /> • Merged market area 3 2ith market area 1 <br /> • Raised all dry land by 4% and lowered the bottom four classes of grass land to <br /> meet statutory level of assessment before review by the property assessment <br /> division and tax equalization ad review commission <br /> • Raised primary site acres values to $18,500 next four acres ta $3000 per acre <br /> and more than 5 acres to $2000 per acre <br /> • Physical inspection review and revalue af houses and outbuildings an agricultural <br /> 3 <br />
