VI. It is hereby specifically understood at�d agreed tlaat any protests in which the Company, its of_�icers, employees and ag�nts, is invol��ed on bel�alf of t.l�e taxpayer, either directly or indi.rectly, in az1�T advisory,professio��a1, or ol.lier capacity, shall be heard and decided darectly by the County Roard of Fqualization pursu.ant to tl�e provisions of Neb. Stat. 77-1502 (l 99b Reissue). It is further specifically understood that no rei`erees shall be assigned to hear a protest concerning property that#he individual referee l�as pre��iausly appraisec� f�r Caurity unless consented to by the taxpayer. VII. As soo�i as is pz'acticable after e�ecution of the Agreeix�ent,the Coznpany shall ixaform the County,throi�gh the Courity 1�ssessor, of the facilities,ec�uipment, materials azad supplies that �Till }�e requzred to properly conduct heai7x�gs on the valuation pratests�led for the 201 l � assessznent year. Said facilities, equipment, inaterials,and su�?plies sliall be provided by the County at Cour.aty's ck�cnse subject to tlie a�proval of the County Board of Supervisors. Such approval shall nat be unreasanabl}7�vithheld. VIII. The County fi�rthex agrees to cooperate to the fullest exlent possible,throu�h tl�e various ofiices of the Caunty, in the proccssing of the valuation pratests and tlie scheduling of the heaz�rags. Copies of a11 n�aterials filed with the County by the taxpaycrs u1 ca�zr�ection with tlleir protests slaall be forwarded to the Compaiiy immcdiaiely after:receipt of said materials by ihe County. lX. For the servzces o�the Coordinator prot�ided pursuant t�tihe terms af this Agrceznent,the Coux�.ty shall pay as consideration to Coznpany a fee of$90 per haur. �or tlae services of each referee providcd pursuant to the tei-�ns af tl�is A.greement,the Courity shalJ �ay as canszderatian to Cozr�paaly a fee of$7S per hour- �or p�ax�oses of thzs Agree�nent,a working day shall be de�'ined as a calcndar day and may exceed eight working hours. Every effort will be made to work only full days (eight�aours or nlore) and half days (foux hours). X. In the evez�t tl�at the Coordiz�ator is uzxable to provade all of�he services required by the terxt�s of thi.s Agrecment, Company ma}'elect to pra��ide another ind"z�Tidual to assist the Coordirzator i_u the provision of tlle r�quiz'ed services. Employment of an assisiant coorduiator sha].1 be subjcct to prior approval of ih�County Board of Equalization, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. �.ny assista��t coc�rdi.nator shall be coinpensated at a rate not to exceed $540 per working day. Said rate shall be specificalJy deteilx�ined and approved by the County Board of Equalir�ation prior to tlae provision of an}T services by the assistaz�t coordinator. XX. It is hereby ackn.owled�ed by the Parties that t�ie precise number of warl:in.g days necessaay to fulfill the teX-n�s af Lhis Agreeznei�t is depez�dent u�on the number of protests that are filed. Included in the costs of scrvices for this aD eeax�ent is the cost of the coordinator, assisia_z�.t coordiixatar, if appoinled, and the referees approved by the Goux�ty Board of�qualization. 17�e tota] campensation to be paid by the County io the Company for services pravided pursuant to this Agireement sliall not exceed $33,500.00,witk�out ihe prior approval of the County 13oard of Equalization. Failux'c to obtain such prior approval shall lixnit the compensatio�.x to be��aid to the Coinpany by the Coux�ty to a n�aatta�LU�1 of$33,500.00 irrespective of the number of worki��g hours of service provided.
