HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING MARCH 15, 2011 <br /> Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to ga into a Board of Equalization <br /> meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Pr�sent on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Bud Jeffries and Daniel Purdy were <br /> absent. Also present was County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey <br /> Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW —Vice Chairman Lancaster read the natice of the <br /> open meeting law. <br /> MINUTES --Quandt made a motian and Ziala seconded to place on file the minutes of <br /> the March 1, 2011 and the February 15, 2011 meetings. Arnold, Lancaster, Quandt, <br /> Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Jeffries and Purdy were absent <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER— 1. APPROVE EX�MPTION APPLICATION �OR THE <br /> SALVATION ARMY FOR A 2011 CHEVROLET AND APPROVE �XEMPTION <br /> APPLICATION FOR GRAND ISLAND �VANGELICAL FREE CHURCH FOR A 1998 <br /> GMC -- County Treasurer poris Masan read the following exemption applications: <br /> The Salvation Army, 818 West Third, Grand Island for a 2011 Chevralet�F/Dr utility to be <br /> used to pick up and drop off people from church and community events. She approved <br /> this application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Grand Island Evangelical Free Church 2609 South Blaine, Grand Island, for a 1998 <br /> GMC sport van to be used ta transpart people, supplies and equipment to events. She <br /> approved this �xemption as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the exemption applications <br /> for the 5alvation Army and Grand Island Evangelical Free Church. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Jeffries and Purdy were <br /> absent. <br /> DISCUSSION REGARDING PICTOMETRY PROJECT--Quandt stated that he had <br /> questions far County Assessor Jan Pelland but she is home ill today. Regional Planning <br /> Director Chad Nabity was present and stated he would try and answer the questions. <br /> Quandt asked if 2�02 was the last time a fly over was done and Lancaster stated that <br /> the board has heard that dat� over and over. He questioned if the county is working with <br /> the city regarding these flights. He noted that the city had included 20,000 parcels and <br /> expanded the photos to 27,000 <br /> Nabity stated that this infarmation is available to the Assessor but this information is not <br /> the same data as the pictometry.
