SURPLUS PROPERTY <br /> RESOLUTI�N #12- V�u � <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS COUNTY PROP�RTY <br /> WHEREAS, the County purchase act provides that County Baard may authorize <br /> a county employee or official to sell surplus county personal property, which is absalete <br /> or not useable by the county having a value of less than two thousand five hundred <br /> dollar; and surplus county mabile equipment that is obsolete or not usable that has a <br /> value of less than five thousand dollars; and <br /> WHEREAS, the prop�rty set forth in the attachment is personal property or <br /> mobile equipment of the county that is obsolete or not usable by the county; and <br /> WH�REAS, each item set forth in the attachment is personal property that has a <br /> value of less than two thousand five hundred dollars; and <br /> WHER�AS, each item in attachment of surplus mobile equipment that is <br /> obsolete ar not usable by the county and has a value of less than five thousand dollars, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Super'visors desires to authoriz� the sale of <br /> the property as set forth in attachments <br /> NOW B� IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Loren Humphrey, Hall County Parks, Building and Ground Director, hereinafter <br /> referred to as the "Director" be hereby authorized and directed to sell the property set <br /> farth in attachment"A." Said sale or sales may be conducted in such manner as <br /> determined by the Directar including, but not limited to, sale at public auction through <br /> the services of an auctioneer and auction firm. In the event of sale by auction, the <br /> Director is authorized to apprave a reasonable fee far the services of the auctioneer, <br /> to be paid from the proc�eds of any such sale. <br /> 2. The Director shall make a written report to the County Board within thirty days after <br /> the end of the fiscal year reflecting, for each transaction, the item sold, the name <br /> and address of the purchaser, and the total amount paid by the purchase for each <br /> item, and the total amount paid by the purchaser, and the auctioneer's fee, if any. <br /> 3.
