RESOLUTYON #l2- � 3$ RESOLUTION FUR THE CONSOLYDATION OF THE OFFICES OF TI�E HALL COUNTY ASSESSOR AND THE HALL COUNTY REGISTER OF DEEDS WHEREAS, N�$. REV. S7'AT. §24-417 allows for the consolidatian p� certain county affices, including the office of county assessor and register of deeds; and WHEREAS, NEB. REV. STA�['. §24-417 further provides for the steps to be undertaken to achieve said consolidatian; and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board did, on June 19, 2012, at 10:00 o'clock a.rn., conduct a public hearing, after notice as provided for by law, on the question of whether Hall County should consolidate tk�e offices of Hall County Assessor and Hall County Register of Deeds; and WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the members af the Hall County Board of Supervisors determined that it would be in the public interest to consolidate said offices and that the issue of consolidatian of the offices of Hall County Assessor and Hall County Regist�r of Deeds should properly be submitted to the registered voters af Hall County, Nebraska, for approval at the next general election. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hall County Board of Supervisors that the offices of Hall County Assessor and Hall County Register of Deeds should be consolidated. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Hall County Baard of Supervisors that ihe question of the consolidation of the offiees of Hall Caunty Assessor and Hall County Register of Deeds shall be submitted to the registered vaters of Hall County, Nebraska for approval at the next general election in the fallowing form: "Shall the offices of Hall County Assessor and Hall County Register of Deeds be consolidated into one consolidated office according to the resolution adopted by the county baard of Hall County, Nebraska, on June 19, 2012?
