Held a Board af Equalization meeting. <br /> 9:p9 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting <br /> �� <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called far public participation and no one ' <br /> responded. I <br /> �4. COUNTY ATTORNEY EXECUTIVE SESSION — LITIGATION STRATEGY EL.L.IS <br /> CONDEMNATION — Deputy County Attarney Jack Zitterkopf was present and requested an <br /> executive session. This executive session is to protect the public interest. . <br /> 9:10 a.m. Ziola made a motion and McFarland seconded to go inta executive sessian, to pratect <br /> the public interest. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziala all voted <br /> yes and none vated no. Motion carried. <br /> 9 28 a.m. Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded ta go aut of executive session. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and nane voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Chairman Lancaster stated tha# the only subject that was discussed was the agenda item and <br /> there was na action was taken and no vote was taken. <br /> 7. 9:30 AM BID OPENING FOR RF'P FOR INMATE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES — The <br /> follawing bid was received: <br /> Odalys Perez <br /> 1703 West Anna Street . <br /> Grand Island, NE 688Q3 <br /> Fixed hourly rate $ 35.41 per hour <br /> Fixed Monthly Rate $5,665.60 per month <br /> Arnold made a mation and Quandt seconded ta refer the bids to the corrections steering <br /> committee. Discussion was held and they will meet today to review the bid and come back with <br /> a recammendation. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all <br /> voted yes and none voted na. Motion carried. <br /> 9:35 Held a Baard of corrections meeting. <br /> 9:55 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 13. RECOMMENDATIONS FROM AUDIT COMMITTEE REGARDING UPCOMING BUDGET <br /> Lancaster stated that there are 5 recommendations fram the audit committee. When she put <br /> together information for the Platte Institut� the county has unfunded mandates and she could <br /> identify 2.3 millian dollars that have came back to the county to fund. We are down emplayees <br /> but dallars are still tight. She noted that the state had taken over some of the County Assessor <br /> offices across the state and now they are retuming them to the county because the counties are <br /> more efficient. She also noted that Mr. Sherlock provided infarmatian regarding road projects <br /> that the caunty can build more efficiently. Following are the audit committee's <br /> recommendations. <br /> 3 <br />
