Chairman Lancaster asked for a mation to approve biweekly pay claims and regular claims as <br /> pres�nted. Supervisor McFarland stated that he has a conflict of interest he asked that the Supervisors <br /> pull the Office Net claim fior a separate vote. <br /> Quandt mad� the motion and it was seconded by Schuppan to approve all claims excluding th� O�ce <br /> Net clam for this month. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Quandt, 5chuppan, and Ziola all voted yes, <br /> and none voted no, with Purdy absent. Mation carried. <br /> Quandt made the motion and it was seconded by Arnold to approve the Office Net claim as presented. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Quandt, Schuppan, and Ziala all voted yes, and none voted no, with Purdy absent <br /> and McFarland abstaining. Motion carried. � <br /> COMMITTEE �R BOARD MEMBER REPORTS- Quandt who serves on the County Facilities <br /> C�mmittee, talked to the Board regarding Christmas decoratians far the Hall County Park for next year. <br /> It was suggested that the County ask the area school students for help with display far next year. <br /> Schuppan cammented on a cattlemen's meeting that was attended by Purdy, Ziala and himselfi. <br /> Schuppan is requesting a resolution in support of our local cattlemen that they will ask th� attarney's <br /> office to review the propased resolution before the next meeting. Lancaster informed the Board about <br /> the court house water pipeline repair and that a repair plan and the cost are still being reviewed by the <br /> committee. Lancaster told the Board that the plan is ta have the IT equipment moved from the court <br /> house after the first of the year. Lancaster also informed the Board that Building and Grounds is <br /> looking at gEtting rid of a pickup that is in need of passible expensive repair, and if funds allow possibly <br /> purchase a utility vehicle for local graunds use. � <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT- Caunty Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka reminded the Board <br /> members of various meetings in the near future; she alsa distributed a signup sheet for them to choose <br /> #h� dates that they will be available for interviews next year with KRGI radio. <br /> 15. WATER CONNECTION PROBLEM AT FONNER PARK. $S,OOO.OQ — The Visitors Improvement <br /> Fund was cr�ated to pay for the Heartland Event Center, but alsa allows fund to pay for the State �'air <br /> building expenses. Lancaster feels that the Visitor Improvement Funds could support the expenses for <br /> the water problem. The �5,000.00 is�a small amount to make the building usable all year long. <br /> McFarland asked what the funds were exactly for. He was informed that the water has to be turned off <br /> to the building due ta the cold weather, #hat the valves and back-flow devices an floor hydrants need to <br /> be �xed so that it could be used for watering livestock. Lancaster reminded the Board that we wauld be <br /> paying only a portion ofi the water cost, four other agencies would bE paying a percentage of the bill <br /> also. Gary made the motion noted that we shauld use the funds as requested, a$5,000.00 draw an the <br /> fund, Ziala seconded Gary's motion, to use the Visitors Improvement Fund . Schuppan had a cancem <br /> regarding heating af the building. Once you install water yau need to heat the building or there would I� <br /> be other problems, from frozen pipes.
