9:05 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting 9:12 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting PUBLIC PARTICIPATION — Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. COUNTY ATTORNEY - no items D. DISCUSS AND APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF COUNTY SURVEYOR TO DISPOSE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT — County Surveyor Casey Sherlock was present and he has a list of property that he would like to declare as surplus as per Nebraska State Statute 23 -3113. This statute was amended and items of a value of less than $2,500.00 can be declared as surplus and disposed of. Mobile equipment with a value of less than $5,000.00 can also be disposed of. Discussion was held Item 11 is the resolution to sell surplus property and the resolution should be amended to change the dollar value and to also include the mobile equipment surplus sale. The County Clerk will change the dollar amount in the resolution and also include the mobile equipment. Schuppan made a motion and Ziola seconded to change the resolution to the $2,500.00 and add the mobile equipment and approve Resolution #12 -013. SURPLUS PROPERTY RESOLUTION #12- 013 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY WHEREAS, the County purchase act provides that County Board may authorize a county employee or official to sell surplus county personal property, which is obsolete or not useable by the county having a value of less than two thousand five hundred dollar; and surplus county mobile equipment that is obsolete or not usable that has a value of less than five thousand dollars; and WHEREAS, the property set forth in the attachment is personal property or mobile equipment of the county that is obsolete or not usable by the county; and WHEREAS, each item set forth in the attachment is personal property that has a value of less than two thousand five hundred dollars; and WHEREAS, each item in attachment of surplus mobile equipment that is obsolete or not usable by the county and has a value of Tess than five thousand dollars, and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors desires to authorize the sale of the property as set forth in attachments NOW BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. Loren Humphrey, Hall County Parks, Building and Ground Director, hereinafter referred to as the "Director" be hereby authorized and directed to sell the property set forth in attachment "A."
