HALL COUNTY BOARD OF CORRECTIONS MEETING MAY 2, 2006 <br /> The Hall County Board of Corrections met from general session and by published <br /> call. <br /> 10:00 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Arnold seconded to go into a board of <br /> corrections meeting. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster <br /> and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Members present were Scott Arnold, Jim Eriksen, Dick Hartman, Bob Humiston, <br /> Bud Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster and Bob Rye. Also present were Assistant <br /> Corrections Director Jimmy Vann and Administrative Assistant Holly Plejdrup. . <br /> CORRECTIONS DIRECTORS REPORT — Mr. Vann provided the board members with <br /> the statistical information, the Administrative Officer Report and the Trustee report. He <br /> reported that the daily average is 123.8 inmates and they had 712 arrests. Discussion <br /> was held on how the demographic information is determined and Mr. Vann stated that <br /> when the inmates are interviewed they ask for that information. Mr. Hartman questioned <br /> if there was a stabbing and Mr. Vann stated that those incidents still happen. <br /> The jail tour will be held after the regular meeting. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION - PERSONNEL — Jeffries made a motion and Humiston <br /> seconded to go into executive session to discuss personnel. Arnold, Eriksen, <br /> Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Motion carried. <br /> 10:20 a.m. executive session <br /> 10 :28 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Humiston seconded to go out of executive <br /> session. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Humiston seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes <br /> and none voted no.
