HALL COUNTY BOARD OF CORRECTIONS MEETING MARCH 7, 2006 <br /> The Hall County Board of Corrections met from general session and by published <br /> call. <br /> 11:00 a.m. Jeffries made a motion and Rye seconded to go into a board of <br /> corrections meeting. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster <br /> and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Members present were Scott <br /> as Arnold, d Bob Rye SeAl Dick Hartan, Bob <br /> present Corrections <br /> Bud. Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster and <br /> Director Dave Arnold. <br /> CORRECTIONS DIRECTORS REPORT -- Corrections Director Dave Arnold was <br /> present and provided the packets to the board members. He reviewed the <br /> statistical information. They have an average daily population of 115; the total <br /> arrests were 721, with an average of two charges per inmate. He included the <br /> trustee's report from Emmett Arnett for January and February. He stated that <br /> they have problems finding outside trustees. He also included the housing <br /> reports. He noted that in April Jail Standards will be holding their spring <br /> conference in Grand Island. Mr. Arnold stated that this is an excellent <br /> opportunity for him to send 6 or 8 of his employees for training. He stated that <br /> they are also in the process of rewriting the training curriculum for corrections <br /> officers. He also stated that he attended a table top exercise for the pandemic flu <br /> and stated how important it is to be prepared. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION — PERSONNEL Rye made a motion and Humiston <br /> seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, <br /> Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11 :15 a.m. executive session. <br /> 11:35 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Rye seconded to go out of executive <br /> session. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster and Rye all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Rye made a motion and Hartman HartmaneHum Humiston, the <br /> Lancaster and Rye all <br /> meeting. Arnold, Eriksen, <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11:52 a.m. Jeffries made a motion and Rye seconded to return to the board of <br /> corrections meeting. Arnold, Eriksen, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster <br /> and Rye all voted yes and none voted no.
